IM up in Marysville, if you ever come up this way i could help you out. I have a 02 Monte Carlo that i have tried a couple box designs with different subs.

12"s sealed facing back

15"s sealed forward

15"s ported subs up port forward

18" sub up port forward

15"s subs and port forward @ about 42 hertz

15"s subs back(inverted) ports forward(tube ports) @35 hertz

This is my current setup, and was a HUGE gain(by ear) over any other setup.

15"s subs and port(tubes) forward @35 hertz

But i think i need to cut my amp rack down some. :pardon:

and my trunk is h-19 d-42 w-39. thats approximately

That's a lot of space for one 12 to cover. But i heard many people do around the max recommend size box for that power
