Sealed box

Ok, so I'm trying to do some trial and error kinda thing. But I 2 Fi Q 18s in a 13 cu ft box now @ 28hz in a 2000 Chevy Blazer walled off.. and I wanted to try a sealed box since these woofers are somewhat made for SQ applications. The box I have now isnt quite as loud, or as good for sound quality as I had hoped. Ive never had a sealed box before, always had ported, and I wanted to see what a 13 cu ft sealed box would sound like... (subs up) my question is if 45 degree corners would even help in a sealed box, just waste space, or if its just for ported boxes.

I listen to a lot of rap, hip-hop, alternative... pretty much everything but mostly those three. I got the woofers running off 2 Kicker ZX1000.1s @ 2 ohms each with all the electrical to supply of course.. (270 amp alt, kinetik 1800 and 800, big 3..)

Btw, the box I have now is easy to get out, and I wouldnt trash it just thought I would see how I liked a sealed box.
