my orig plan was to run 5 SA8's, i already own 2, so i know how they preform. But im also wondering if i should do 2 sa 12's instead? they will be running off a saz2k, and im willing to run down to .5ohm daily or at 1 ohm. these will be in a s10 ext cab. running 4" aero ports. i know its hard to figure out what would be better, just need some more help deciding. I listen to mostly just music off the tunez section, low bangers.

depends on what type of music you like. if you like a long range of types of genres...id say do the 2 sa12s with 2k on D2 coil. gonna give you some good bass and will fit in the ext cab. but running 5 sa8s on one amp in the same amount of room, you will ultimately have more cone area to move area. but who knows what it will sound like that much power to each woofer plus figuring out on what type of music you listen to. my vote is to go simple and do the 2 12s. going to sound better in my opinion.

This one boils down to this question. Do you want to be different?

If so run 5.

i dont care about being different really, no one around me runs sundown. also the ohms will come out to be .66 ohms, will that matter at all on the amp?

That amp should be fine with .66 ohms, provided your electrical is sufficient. I've seen people run them at .375
