xstingstreetx87 Posted October 20, 2010 Report Posted October 20, 2010 I need some help with wiring. I have a stock battery up front and will have a kinetic 1400 in back + to + and - to - . Ran with 1/0, I was going to do a 240amp fuse in between the batteries but a lot of people are saying to go with 300 amp, and I was going to do 120 amp on the + wire going to the amp (sax-1200d) which that amp has 3 40amp fuses on it. Ive also heard that its best for me to fuse twice in between the batteries one fuse right after the stock battery and one fuse right before the kinetic. Help please? DONT MIND ME, IM JUST A DISRESPECTFUL PIECE OF SHIT.

It its always better for you to fuse right after the battery in the front and right before the rear battery. So yea man you are spot on.... As far as the 120 amp fuse for the power wire going to the amp i say yea. You can do more but its pointless in my opinion.
