My girl was gonna throw this coat rack thingy with a bench seat attached to it < in the trash stopped her in time and made my router table out of it put some hinges omn it and it was good to go

Guest Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 OK so i have a quick question if i go ported can i have 1 port for all four 12s and and if so will they handle the memphis 4k i doubt the 12's will last on 4000rms. tune gains to something like 2500rms. yes you can have a single port. you need that port to have about 12 to 16 square inches of port area PER CUBIC FOOT (i would go with like 14 or 15). that is if you have an 8 cubic foot box, the port needs to have about 96 to 128 square inches of area. to get the area (of a square one at least), multiply the height by the width.
