i did the big 3 have 1 run 1/0 2 yellow tops still looking for a alternator , the only 1 i found for that year was 170 amp dont know if thats gonna work

i suggest you talk to DC Power and Mechman about alternators. 5kw is too much for a 170 amp in my opinion.

Expect to have 550-600 amps on tap for the full 4k from the Memphis, or turn the gain down. Watch voltage like a hawk, do not let it see below 11v ever! They are VERY sensitive amps and expensive to repair, but you will love it if you take care of it. I've seen soo many go up in smoke and its always voltage related. What model yellow tops do you have?
