casemods Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 From what I have found out, the DXi 112 is 360rms @ 2 ohms, and the silver rim one is 360w RMS @ 4 ohms. I had the silver one before but took it back after it didn't hit hard enough... Well I miss it and I need my bass back. I have 8awg power wire, 17 feet - would like to keep it under the recommended RMS wattage for that. I think because I don't have a sealed trunk, it doesn't hit as hard as it would in a car. It's the one I had before and it did a good job. I got a polk amp for $200 to see if it was any better and it blew the first day.
