Im just finishing up my new box for 4 8" SA's. Its a center console box for a ford ranger. Its 2.4 cu.ft. after displacement ported @34hz. Wat amp would work the best with these for a daily driver? Sundown, kicker, rockford are wat im lookin at. $550 is my limit. thanks guys.

99 ranger single cab

8" kicker L7

custom ported box tuned to 35hz

kicker zx450.2 (sub)

kicker zx350.4 (speakers)

12 sq. ft of Vexmat

Kenwood KDC-693 HU

1/0 power wire to fused dist. block w/ 4ga. power/grounds to amps

No the 1200 with moderate gain would be better.

The 1200 will do too.... i was just thinking 4x400wtt = 1600wtt rms total, box is 2.4/4 = 0.6 cub per sub. will handle the 1500 with more power power to play with.

yes they don't. smaller box will typically hand more power is what i'm tryin to say. don't get me wrong, not bashin that the 1200 is a better fit. It is a small power house of its own, but i would much rather get the 1500. just my $0.02
