Some mono-block amps have 2 RCA inputs, but they are connected internally so you only need to use one anyways. And like previously said, an amp can provide full output with as little as .2 volts preamp signal. The owners manual of your amp should state its input voltage range. You just have to adjust the gains accordingly.
