box size?

so i have a tiny gmc sonoma single cab, plan to put in a re sx 15, was wondering how big i should make the box first tho, most ppl said 5 cubes @ 34hz but then i had some say a smaller volume box like 4cubes would be louder since its a smaller truck.. i wont it the loudest lol so i figured i'd ask you guys.. thanks for any help. btw it will be getting 1200

edit: is it better to tune your box lower in a smaller car?
