BeAlLsTaR13
just got my new alpine cda-9887 today got it installed and everything, i bought the ipod cord for it cuz it didnt come with one, the ipod works but heres my issue i cant search through my artists and playlists ect., i can only go through the main SONG playlist which is 1400 songs, only thing i can do really is shuffle, but i cant find the exact song i wanna listen to because i cant figure out how to search playlists and shit i looked at the manual and it says to hit the middle button (with the magnifying glass that says EXT) i hit it and nothing.. HOWEVER if i press and hold it, it allows me to QUICK SEARCH through my whole song playlist (doesnt give names, just track number) what am i doing wrong? jshark5
is it the full speed connect (blue squarish end) or the usb? what type of ipod do you have? also if its a touch what iSO is installed? my old 9886 was hooked up through the full speed connect and after i installed iSO4 it was so horribly slow loading artist names and album names. i literally had to spin the volume nob for 10 minutes to get to the G's. so if thats the problem get yourself the kenwood that i have. its sexy, charges your ipod at the same time, and doesn't have that problem. BeAlLsTaR13
Figured out the issue, it doesn't let you search playlists when "mix all" is activated Quote Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------
