dwright27
I can prolly invert subs help with cooling right.how do you figure the amp at .5ohm to rise only 1500 watts It's a zenon board. Unless you have little to no impedance rise, then I'm willing to bet you'll clamp 1500 watts rms outta it. Quote 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. jdmferio13
If its inside they will. If the inside is 8"s you would have 9.5 on the outside. Subs mount in the outside ... what you ,ean outside 9.5 see this is why I want a better drawn up design.I like this one and want this one but would like a google sketchup with measurements

The place where the subs will mount to ( baffles as called above ) on the outside of it, will be 9.5"s after the double baffle. Because 8 + 1.5 = 9.5 or did math suddenly change? If an XL takes 8.25" to mount .. 9.5 - 8.25 = 1.25 ... So there would be 1.25"s foam mags to back wall... I think you are part of the group we refer to as "the factor" Quote 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. dwright27
no I understand that its states on the design not to dble the port so theres only .75 for the port walls so would it still fit then Why wouldn't it still fit? Look at the design again and tell me why it matters how thick the port is. The space the subs have to mount in the sealed chamber have nothing to do with how thick the port is Quote 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L. dwright27
so you think its a ok design then should I build it or what With the questions you've asked so far, I don't think YOU should build it, but someone should. But yea i think it's a decent design, but, I would tweak it to what ive been taught on bandpass Edited November 7, 2010 by dwright27 Quote 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L.
