Static
This is my understanding of the correct wiring for my stereo. Ideas? Input?
Guest
yes thats 100% correct except for one small detail. when bridging a 4 channel to a dvc woofer, the channels are separated by Left and Right. so if the bass by chance isnt completely 50/50, the voice coils will "fight" each other and it will end up making the woofer sound muddy. if you switch to a monoblock or a 2 channel (which will work in your case), then the results will be much better. in my honest opinion, i would save that amp and use it for your door speakers
Static
What if I were to just use one of the left or one of the right? Do you think that will still have enough power to kinda "punch"?
dugee81
If you are bridging channel 1 (L) + channel 2 ®, bridging 3 (L) and 4 ®, you should be fine. I would think so at least 200a alt. by Excessive Amperage hc800 under hood & 2 Deka 9a31 in rear 1/0awg + big 3 SAZ 3000D HDC3 18" @ 2 ohm
