mason313 Posted November 16, 2010 Report Share Posted November 16, 2010 I installed my new alternator today and ran 2 runs of 1/0 from the front to back and added another ground in the back. The aternator is grounded to the batt. Now I have a really loud whinning noise any ideas?? The rcas are ran on the otherside of the truck. actully I went under the hood and the alt is makining the same noise I unplugged it and its not making the noise anymore??
