Amp ordered! Need sub help

i had each sub wired to .35 (2 subs wired to 1 amp) internally bridged down to 0.175 per amp

How do the DC subs compare to DD and say Kicker Solo x?

You cant go wrong with any of those subs. I would run a DD 9518 as a daily sub though. The SMD's sound amazing. I heard 6 of them bumping in a Hummer this weekend and those subs hit every note thrown at them with authority. The DC level5's and the DD's sound very good too, but I think they are geared more towards SPL.

4.What are your goals? SPL? Daily ground pounder?

Hmm ok cool, thanks for the info. I have actually herd different about the subs. I have herd that the DD is better geared towards SPL. I guess its a shot in the dark now lol..

1. 2008 Vw rabbit Hatch back. Laying down the rear seats so i have plenty of room.

2. I have a deka intimidator under the hood. Going to go with an Optima Yellow top in the rear.

3. I have around $1,000 give or take for subs. (depends on the deal)

4. Looking for a Daily ground pounder. This is my daily driver

6. Last system was a solox 12 with a kicker kx2500.1. same car and everything. Sold it all for a motorcycle now i miss my audio lol.

i'd recommend a different back battery for you. also what music do you listen to? and do you like flat or peaky boxes?

Thats not an issue on the battery.. And I listen to all rap, box will be tuned to 30hz or so. Most likely will be a wall.

I think Im going to go with the 2 lvl 5 DC. I will buy a second amp after a couple months.
