Thanks in advance! -Justin If you are talking about the 34/78 yellow top, performance is the main difference. You are putting older technology in the yellow top versus the newer and more efficient technology in the 1200. You will get more instantaneous power with the 1200, but because the 1200 is a smaller battery it will have less capacity. The recharge rate on the 1200 will be better also. If you are looking for capacity then the D3400 would be the option to look at. Same physical size as the yellow top, but a ton more power. One more question.. do I need to get the 3400 Billet Aluminum Hold Down Base or should it fit in my stock location?
