Need help with port design, very confused!

Should be picking up the wood sometime either this week but for sure next week. But for bracing the box, could i just double up the wood on top? or put some beams inside the box as well?

your diagram shows 38" as a inner dimension unless your blazer is wider than mine 38 is as wide as you can go also i would do sub up port back i done 4-12"s in mine got a 153.4db out of it sealed on the dash.

you can fit between the wheel well 40"

and i cannot put port back because that is where my amps are located

so i cannot find 1" MDF anywhere local, so would i still be safe to make it out of 3/4"?

ok! you are buy 3/4" and build double up the wood on top. But the port should be 3 "!!!

ok thanks, and what kind of screws work for everyone, the last time i used mdf the screws messed it up so any suggestions? (yes i did predrill before putting the screws in)

I drilled before putting the screws in, too!

(this is my home 10" sub, MDF 1,6"!!! )
