Would these do the trick ?

Recommended Posts

I have the chance to get some new batteries quite cheap. Been thinking of upgrading power for a while now before i upgrade the sub and amp. I get the whole it takes power to make power thing ( which i learnt reading this forum) but wonder if a few of these will make a decentish battery bank.

Havent really got the cash this side of the festive season but at the price there going for its a steal @ £30 gbp each.

I already run a two battery set up split charged and the batteries are taking a beating :pardon:

Plz let me know what you think. Would it be a waste of time/money or a good start for some better power.

:drinks:

It would depend on your current demand. I would see how much you need and then go from there instead of just throwing batteries into a system because you can get a good deal on them. And how do you plan to maintain them? What does your alt setup consist of? These are the questions you need to answer before you go further.

Thanks for the reply AMI CUSTOMS

currently i run a 110amp stock alt but looking at adding another secondry 210amp alt for the bank.Definatly need to sort power as i drop to 11V. I may be wrong about this but 3x70ah batts on a 210amp alt is ok right???

Maintanence wise i was thinking THIS. Sorry im a bit new to power as ive used 2 car batteries and a split relay since i was a kid.I'm currently pushing upto 1000w RMS but the plan is to go upto 5000w RMS in the end i hope if i can figure it all out lol. Keen to learn as knowledge is power and power = BASS :)

NRG...
