THEMERQ Posted December 8, 2010 Report Posted December 8, 2010 i will be getting a kicker kx350.4 soon . it is max rated at 90 rms x4 @ 2 ohms. i wanna get the most power out of this amp so i want to run each channel at 2 ohms. i have been looking at some component systems and most of them are 4 ohms. i see the infinity kappa and reference series is 2 ohm so i want to go with these. are they single voice coil? whats the difference between the reference and the kapa series? the price is about the same on ebay, right around $120 shipped per pair and they are 90 watts rms. i think the infinitys fit the bill perfectly both with price and commodity. i like how the external crossover allows you to control the tweeters by modifying the db, the thing is i dont think i'll like having 4 external crossovers. is there a simpler way to go about doing things? should i just go with 2 way coaxials to be simple?
