Guest Posted December 9, 2010 Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 find a digital multimeter and set it to ohms. put each lead to the + and - on the subwoofer. it should read somewhere around 2-4 ohms. if it reads really high or really low or reads nothing at all, then its blown or about to be blown. Blown coil or shifted pole piece, probably the first one though, since it has happened to both. You could get them reconed, contact PSI and see what they can do for you.
