soundstream splx power handleing?

Ok went to a big sale on near my house mainly to buy some $10 6x9 (rated 110rms)

anyway i won a soundstream splx-152hx in a lil raffle giveing away bunch stuff..

anyway beforehand i was asking a (who i think is a rep) guy what he would run on it (seeing i enterd it thought i mite win was haveing good day) and he said he would put the 2600d on it or a 4000d on 2 or 6500 for burst..and said he got people runing 2600d per coil..now its rated at 1250rms and im not sure if i wanna run twice the power on it..not that i wont hav clean power im saveing for amp alt and lots batterys hopeing for xmas money

anyway cut the crap..will these handle 2600rms (or what ever the amp would really produce) or should i stick to recomended..has anyone used this sub before?/
