chrisiseffincool
Alright, looks like I was right about the ring terminals being bad. I fixed those and everything works properly now, but now I have another problem. I have no idea how to wire the speakers to my Hifonics amp OR the head unit (which should I do?) with the crossover. Here is the cross over: http://img819.imageshack.us/i/20101218230815.jpg/ http://img87.imageshack.us/i/20101218230821.jpg/ Can someone draw me up a quick diagram on how to do it with the amp? Also without? I would love you guys forever. Quote Current Setup: VW GTI 1.8T '02 1 15" Fi BTL Sundown SAZ-1500D Box-4.3 cubes
Superjay
from either the amplifier OR head unit outputs, wire to the INPUT of the crossover. wire the mid to WF wire the tweeter to TW. you can choose flat output, or attenuated output. wire the neg to the - terminal, and the + to either the 0dB or -3dB terminal, depending on YOUR preference. Try both Quote Principal JTech Consulting - Leader in 12-Volt Training and Product PlanningIt's not about how much power you have, but how well you use it

Superjay
the attenuated output is 3dB quieter. use this if the tweeters scream at you, and are just overpowering...or if they shut off from the MOV protection circuit too often.
