Hi

First post :):noob: Asking about this driver which I can find very little on the net about so I thought I would come to the forum where people use these beasts! :D There are some great builds on here :yahoo:

I was wondering if anyone had Thiele/Small (T/S) parameters for this driver? I use WinISD to model and I usually run sealed (thinking 5 cu ft). I want to work out the best box size and how much power I need to get where I want to be.

Hoping you can help :) Thanks

2 weeks ago "In wikipedia i found that this sub in 1997's unofficial private SPLdB drag was burned down the dB meter! The dB was over 300 and the system burned down. Actually, 300dB is only about ¼ of this prototype sound level."

I don't know anything about guns... so when I saw the title I thought, "I wonder what kind of woofer the AR-15 is?"

*laughs*

Twisted, I would stay away from that guy, the next video he uploads could be you tied up in his living room while being forced to watch him "swag and cook" in person, lol.

MT's aren't designed for a sealed box.

Sometime programs like that and SPLish subs doesn't agree. You can try, but you might find that it causes for a tiny sealed box and in real world it will the worst sounding thing imaginable.

Hi All, I appreciate all your good advice. No, there are no specs on the RE site - just lots of question marks. If you don't think I searched then that's cool but lettin' you know I didn't post to waste your valuable time ;)

It seems the best understanding I have is that they need to be ported. Such is life. Have a great holiday season :)
