It could be a lot of things.

How is your box design? I've seen boxes where the port location was wrong and caused the subs to unload in funny ways.

But easiest way for you to find out the problem is play test tones and find out where its bottoming out at.

well i retuned it and it sounds alot better. i think the SF was set a little to low causing the bottoming out.
