Guest
isolators = useless in my eyes. why would someone want to slam their system with the car off. you will be fine. just wire them together and leave it at that. edit: just saw your venting battery thing. if you dont want a trunk that possibly can get full of hydrogen gas and one spark will blow your car up, then get an AGM battery. completely stupid to put a regular style battery in a closed environment. venting systems are pointless since i dont know why you just cant do things right and get a regular AGM. xxdemonxx01
If ur worried about battery tipping buy a couple of battery boxes and secure them well and put down a solid piece of wood so u don't have to bolt straight to frame or anything
osamio
STOCK the car comes with an unsealed battery and a vent hose. Don't lecture me, lecture GM. The batteries for cobalts are designed with a fume hood kind of thing on it, and an adapter for a vent hose. No but i said in like, 3 of these posts that the stock battery uses a venting system. it's all over this page. and my vehicle is in my signature. but i'm not mad, i'm just trying to get an answer to my question, not a lecture about proper batter safety. From what i've read, it's fine to run 2 batteries on a stock low output alternator. good. thank you.
