If you want to push them they'll take ~2kwrms each as long as it's clean and the box is small enough to prevent excess excursion... but then you might as well be nice to your coils and run less power in a bigger box. Ive got plenty of box for them... right at 7.25^3ft each after displacements and they are tuned at 30hz w/ 200sq. inches of port so thats no problem... However, I'm currently pushing them with a 2kwrms amp and they hardly move... they get loud yes but as far as actual cone movement goes... hardly anything... so i'm leaning towards a power issue... plus I want to go bigger down the road and gettting another 2kw amp just doesnt make sence for that... If I go with the AQ3500.1 with good electrical, I should have room to grow and from what I'm seeing from others, 2k each shouldnt hurt these at all... I'm talking to some others so we'll see what I come up with.. As stated before, I dont plan on pounding the piss out of them day in and day out... but when the time comes to push them for a few minutes...
