The A-pillars look good, but they would rather focus on the ears for better front staging

Yeah I started with them through testing pointed towards me, but upon further testing found that this angle was less harsh sounding and still having the stage be dead center in the middle of the dash, per listening to the SQ competition CD.

I went through the complete disc several times, as well as listening to different genres of music from classic instrumental to underground rap and this angle (to me) seemed to be the best for all genres!

Also with the EQ on the tweeters I have a very wide range of adjustments with it being a dual 30 band and 1/3rd octave.

But thank you for your input, I had thought about it, but like I stated, hours of positioning and this height and angle worked best for what I liked.

I also may pick up or make a dash mat to cancel some of the reflection I may get, if I decide on competing!

If it pleases you, of course, the better XD

Where do you separate the tweeter?

The her in America so much super tweeter installed?

What is the advantage, except that they can be very loud?

Its not really a super tweeter persay! Its from Blues Audio, its just older and it doesnt have a neo motor.

Explain what you mean by separating the tweeter! Im kinda lost!

The pillars came out really nice. They should match the doors perfectly. So you have a 1/3 octave for both sides now right? That is the way to do it. Where did you find that other Alesis? You find someone to convert them to 12v?

You could try making a dash mat out of mlv and carpet. I want to build one too.

I got the Alesis on Ebay last week! But the Alesis controls full range so I will be using it on the doors and tweeters! Im gonna use a Y adapter to run from the EQ to the amps.

The Alesis is a dual 30 band EQ, so I will have a lot of tuning capabilities.

Im not sure about the dash mat quite yet, will make that decision once I start the tuning process!

I have a convertor for the Alesis, but if I get motor noise, I am gonna buy a Zapco psi power supply!

Sorry, I use google translate German-English, translated the bad -. -

You go full active?

With extra high frequency amplifier?

I mean, at what frequency do you separate the tweeter?

Yes full active, I will be running the Linear Power 302 on the tweeters, and the Linear Power 1002 on the doors.

Im not exactly sure where my settings will be but will definately post the points when addressed!

Well on top of finishing my pillars, I thought of how I can mount the amps and dress up the trunk. So here was some progress!

This just the base, which holds the fuses and amps. There will be a center section that will have decals of the equipment. All the sections will have lexan and LED's that will be activated by a hidden switch. The panel will be painted the same denim blue as everything else. Then I am going to make a beauty panel that will go from side to side, as well as a false floor to clean up the bottom of the trunk floor. Those panels will be covered in the same carpet as the trunk. I may also make side panels to make everything flow as one.

Tell me what you think!
