I mean I know the basics hook the red to the plus and the black wire to the minusim not THAT dumb. I know this sounds super dumb But u also connect it to the alternator too? I know this sounds super dumb But u also connect it to the alternator too? for a second battery, just take a run of 0 gauge, attach one end to + on battery under hood, run to back of car to second battery +. for ground on second battery, use 0 gauge and bolt it on to the frame. And u guys say I need an extra alternator too?? dude you arent understanding what we are saying. the hifonics amp you chose will have the ability to turn your woofers into swiss cheese in under a minute. if you choose to run that amplifier, you need to do electrical upgrades, such as upgrading your alternator (about $400), get new 0 gauge wiring (about $100-150), and get a secondary battery ($150-300 depending on brand). now lets try this again, find an amplifier that hifonics makes (that is the BRZ or BXI series) that outputs about 1000rms at 2 ohms Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
