I have an 8 gauge for power and like 10 gauge ground. Guest Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 if you honestly have to ask how to hook up a second battery, then you arent even CLOSE to being ready for a 2000+rms system. and if you want to save your woofers, just get an amp that outputs 800-1000rms at 2 ohms. that hifonics can output 1700rms at 2 ohms, which, if you're not careful, WILL annihilate those woofers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
