Where are you seeing its rated .5? I need to know what coils your pioneers have. http://www.amazon.com/Lanzar-OPTI2000D-Optidrive-Competition-Amplifier/dp/B0002YU43C i would say that if your electrical is up to par for the amplifier and the final VC configuration is going to end up being @ 0.65 ohm, yeah do that this! if you dont know what he means by electrical up to par meaning your car having *the big three* bigger power wire from alt to battery, engine ground to frame, and battery ground to frame ok i can do all that, ill have it done tomorrow, i have about 23 foot of 0 guage wire total, would that be enough or would i need more?
