luckymike16
Was looking for a unit to power around 4000 watts laong with 2 100 ah batts. Also is there a dual alt kit available for these.
Justin
I have heard of kits being built for this but I have not seen them.. I have a 99 also with quad alts but I made my brackets.. If you know how to work with metal it's pretty easy. luckymike16
i actually made a bracket for a second alt on the batt side but it leaves the stock alt position with very little belt wrap. I think i used a thread with your pics on it to make it. Also the position of the second alts pully kinda makes the tensioner useless so i was thinking there might be a better solution. MECHMAN
A single SMD 350 amp unit will bolt right in and power that system nicely. They are $675 each, have great durability and 190 amps at idle. We do offer a dual alternator bracket as well for $499 if you REALLY want to go overkill.
