bassl0va
Squaro-ports? I saw a post a while back (this question gets asked to many damn times) and it said that round ports have less surface area on the inside of the port, so therefore less air resistance in the port. That was probably the worst description of it, but you get the idea. The flare just helps to stop turbulence at the mouth and (if flared too) tail of the port. A somewhat interesting page for those who like reading and graphs: http://www.subwoofer-builder.com/flare-testing.htm Edited January 19, 2011 by bassl0va Quote My RE MT 18" wall build Former build, farewell beloved wall.In progress, Toyota Starlet build This forum has a massive boner for ridiculous electrical upgrades.
