Ok so im new to this forum, been out of car audio for a while an starting to get back into it. So i have 2 15fi,fl,fw,el bl's. My question is for a street spl comp would I be better off with a single chamber box for comp or a daul chamber. I want to tune the box around 30hz. For now i will be putting them into my buddies extended cab 2500 pick up tuck. Reason being is my bronco 2 charging system is not ready yet.We will be removing the back seat an building the box on a platform. I belive as of right now the subs will be on top an port foward between the two front seats. would i get better output out of a single or a double chamber box. The reason i ask is because all the boxes i've built in the past have always been daul chamber with two ports. Never delt with a single chamber box but see alot of guys useing them. Any input on this would be great.

Look foward to what you have to say and THANKS guys an gals

the old school subwoofer cookbook says there is a probability of a 6db gain by using a common chamber.

I believe in common chamber only.

just my .02
