I am interested in putting 2 12's in my standard cab S-10. Have you heard them with your own ears? I have searched countless sites and forums, and I cannot see to come up with more than a couple of reviews on them.

I am interested to know what your thoughts were on them and if you would buy them for yourself. Thanks.

Yes, I am going to build my enclosure to the specs of the speakers. They will sit behind the seats.

yes they are great subs for retail i myself bought 2 of them some time ago along with their m650 mono block amps to power them and they sound awesome!!... they stay very cool during long extended play...(like a trip from tennessee to florida only turning them down at rest stops)... they are now in my wifes explorer powered by an re audio 4000d v2...@ 142.6 dbs @1 ohm

Make suree you do a ported /vented box ... when i had them in my civic i had sealed box sounded great but when put in ported box in wifes explorer....way louder

Out of curiosity, how are you running them at 1 omh? They are 4 Ohm SVC. 2 of them would make either a 8 ohm or a 2 ohm load.

.....?....oh...lol... i see by thin you mean the shallow mount's...sorry kinda wondered why the word thin was in the title..

Lol, its ok. Let me make this clear, I am looking at putting 2 of these SHALLOW MOUNT subs behind my seat.

i dont have experiance with these but iv never had a shollow mount that sounded even decent, and for that price you could find something way better. couple sa-8s or dc or dd prob fit behond the seat and sound way better imo

I agree with akustoms even 1 dc or aq would be better
