Ground Noise, how do i fix it?

Ok so i got the big 3 installed in my car but only the negative to ground and positive to alt. no engine block ground. So i guess big '2'. I have it done in 4gauge and have a yellow top optima. The problem

When I just had one amp running to my sub my sub would constantly hummm. Now I have 2 amps one for my front and rear speakers. After i did that i get a high pitch noise that gets higher when i accelerate. Someone told me this is ground noise. Im not sure what to do to fix it is. Ideas?

Engine block ground should be easy as hell. And it is NECESSARY. any gauge increase on one side of the circuit MUST be done to the other side of the circuit. Its like connecting a fire hose to a garden hose and expecting it to flow well.

anyway, ground noise:

The noise is coming from your alternator...so here's what you need to try:

First off, Your alternator is badly grounded to the frame, because you don't have the engine block ground wire the same size as the other two of the big 3. This will cause a difference in potential and current, thus causing a ground loop, and the noise you are hearing. Finish the big 3, if that doesn't fix the problem then try:

1.are any of your RCA cables running on the same side of your car as your power cables? or next to power cables? or through an area with alot of circuitry? like the dashboard? if so, reroute your RCA to avoid these things.

2.CHECK YOUR GROUNDS. amps should be grounded to the same spot on the frame or battery, and as close together as possible. Make sure the ground point is a good SOLID connection, sand off any paint on the chassis where your ground point is. Check your terminals etc.

3.Did you wind up the slack in your RCA cables using a loop? instead, wind up slack in a zig zag pattern.

4. All else fails, get a ground loop isolator/noise filter.
