I just got them installed in January. There Two 12" Level 3 DC Audios and a 1200 Watt Class D Audioque

amp. When they installed them since it's winter do they keep the amp down

a bit or anything. I'm new to this and

want to learn.

Amp setup straight from their customer service:

Low Pass: between 120-125hz

Subsonic Filter: 30-35hz

Amp gain: 3/4

Plug in the remote gain control.(with it being all the way on minimum)

Start with the volume low and work up until you have distortion from your miss and highs

Also make sure the settings are flat across the board on bass, bass boost and any EQ settings you may have make sure they're flat(head unit)

Slowly turn up the remote gain control towards max until the clipping light turns on and off(not solid)

Then it's set, do not have the light go solid if you do either turn down the volume or remote gain control until it shuts off.

I have personally set my AQ amp this way and it's easy and it works.

ONLY for Audioque amps

You can set your gains properly just using your audioque clip light. Play a 40hz test tone with head unit volume about 75% of the way up which will be your max listening volume and turn the gain until the red light comes on. Use a black paint marker on the tip of the blue light to dim it down.

Oh yeah. Set all setting flat on your head unit. Low pass filter on amp around eighty. Subsonic 5 hz below box tuning. Bass boost at 0. Bass knob the clip light is on also at 0. Once the light comes on solid red. Back off just enough to get it to turn off. If it flashes on some beats every once in a while that's fine and won't hurt anything. It's when it stays solid red you'll have issues.
