Ludachris5150 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Hookn up a RF2002 to my 5.25 crescendos today. The amp has lpf/hpf/full... What should it be set at? My h/u does have a hpf on it, No lpf tho. Also what Hz would it be safe to set the frequency at? Rebuild in progress...
thehoe92 Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Should be set on HPF. LPF Is for sub frequencies. A good place to start is 90hz and then you can work your way down from there. I personally like hearing a little sub bass in my mids Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

Anyway the amps rated 50x2 (RF2002), Gotta have the gain damn near all the way up for them to be loud tho. They sound pretty good but are they really that power hungry? 50 watts not enough? Rebuild in progress...
