Just post all the specifications for both drivers Crossovers are built for the drivers itself. What kind of crossover do you want? (Butterworth,Bessel....) Thinking is the root of all problems... Dragonware Posted April 23, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 23, 2014 Sorry for the long delay Driver A- Eminence Beta 6A- 175 RMS 8 Ohm In Parallel with Eminence Beta 8A-225RMS 8 Ohm Will be pushing 500RMS @4ohm to the speakers Second Order (12db/octave) Two-Way Crossover Butterworth This will be part of a threeway system there will be A soundstream SST05 tweeter also but on a separate amp for the highs So this is for the midbass but I dont want both playing at the same frequency whats the point right. Stephen13 Posted May 18, 2014 Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 I don't have any design software to do the calculations so I could be mistaken here but I'm pretty sure it's not a good idea to run two different size speakers (6" & 8") together in parallel while sharing a common X-over.
