Tuning system with DD1+ Questions

So first off Id like to introduce my self since I just signed up for this forum, I'm Mike from pompano beach FL, I used to post on ecoustics under the same name back in the day like 10 years ago.

I just purchased a DD1+ and was planning on tuning my system with it.

First off my Head unit is a Pioneer DEH-X65BT, and for subwoofer controls its has a range from -18(I think) to +6, this is just the line volume correct? I want this set to max when tuning my amp gain?

Second, My amp is a Hifonics HFi 1000.1D that has a HFR3 "boost" knob which Ive always assumed is just a line volume also and I also want this set to max when I tune my gain?

Also I know I want my EQ flat, bass boost off on HU (not that I ever used it anyway), Filters set to highest or off when tuning(?)

Anything else I need to know?

welcome to the forum! the instructions included with the DD-1 Plus should tell you all you need to know. Read carefully!
