AMI CUSTOMS Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 This is a build I am doing for my buddy Mike. He got two of the new SA-15's, dual 4's. It is going into a extended cab 05 Nissan Frontier, on a Discus 1500 amp. Stock alt, Big 3 and second battery in the rear. Custom built box 3/4 mdf with removable daily/spl port. SPL port tuned to 56 hz Daily port tuned to 38 hz Box is 7.5 cubes after displacement and port. Here is the pics, more to come later!!! Subs up, port up(SPL comp port) SA-15 First top layer done Mike pre cutting for the second layer on the top. Just (4) 2x4's on the inside for bracing. You don't have to kill a tree on bracing!!!! Second top layer done!!! Daily port is all that is left. The whole box is single 3/4 mdf except for the top, it is double layer. Thanks Tony, yes ^^^ this, he has right around 10 hz of cabin gain so he will be right in the sweet spot for competitions. iKidwell Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 man you really know how to get some good numbers off not a whole lot of power, i might have to talk to you before i do my next setup...and once again...great craftsmanship. c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
