  4. The map on this web page from the weather channel has times to expect it to happen in your area. http://www.weather.com/news/annular-eclipse-view-20120516
  5. This looks like a interesting show lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfntplpPCa0
  6. Not a bad deal but I went with this deal from Audio Savings. 125ft of 14 AWG speaker wire for $14.95 shipped http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Website/Cadence-14-AWG-Gauge-125-Foot-Blue-Car-Speaker-Wire,-True-Gauge-Wire/125+FEET+14G152M-BLUE.aspx
  7. I got the tinting done yesterday. The guy did an awesome job. It came out to $125 total for stripping off old tint and redoing the tint. We did 35% on the front doors and 20% on all back windows. Also a 20% brow. Ill get pics later.
  8. Well I priced around today and looks like prices vary from $150-350. The shop that will strip and retint for $150 said they use Suntek brand tint. And they offer lifetime warranty. That should be a good way to go right?
  9. Well I plan on getting my girlfriends 1998 Nissan Altima retinted. It will need to be stripped and retinted. The tint on it is all bubbling and faded. I know prices will vary but I am just looking for an idea so I dont get ripped off by a shop. I am probably going to go with the legal limit which would be like 20%. Well any info will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  10. Its an awesome battery! Carquest has a rebadged Deka battery called a NGT Xtreme (I think) and Sear just started getting DieHard Gold AGM's same as the Deka's too. All of them have pretty good warranties on there batteries.
  11. Has anyone bought any of this yet? I am still trying to find some decent 1/0 wire.
  12. Also do you have any pictures of the wire compared to 4 gauge? I have 4 gauge in my truck now and I am debating between 2 gauge and 1/0 wire.
  13. Well guys I recently picked up a 1993 Dodge Shadow. I wanted to put a little system in it. I have a RE SRi 10" but I am leaning toward a 8" woofer because of the limited space in the trunk/hatch. I am not really looking to meter really high or anything like that. I just want something that sounds great. Both probably do sound great but I just cant choose between them on my own. They are both have about the same specs and about the same price. So any help or suggestions would be great! I planed on running one of my older amplifiers to push the single woofer. The amplifier is a Profile California AP1200 (600w RMS @ 4 ohm bridged)
  14. Try opening the system in "Safe Mode" and then try to use Malwarebytes. I had to do that with a friends computer in the past because how bad everything was acting up. Incase you dont know how to get to "safe mode" this will show you how. Just find your system: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-start-windows-in-safe-mode/
  15. Well I try to stay away from anything made by Johnson Controls (Autozone, Advance Auto, O'Reilly Auto, Walmart, Interstate, and Optima). I am a big fan of Deka batteries and Odyssey. Standard Deka batteries can be found at the following place. Sears Diehard Gold Sears Diehard Silver Sears Plus Start You can find the AGM Deka Intimidator batteries rebadged at the following places. Sears Diehard Gold AGM O'Reilly Auto (Super Start Extreme AGM) Carquest Auto (NGT Extreme AGM) As for Odyssey batteries you can buy them a Sears. Sears Diehard Platinum AGM I am highly stressing to get a AGM battery because of the durability and power the have. AGM means Absorbed Glass Mat which helps the batteries take more abuse. Also the batteries are completely sealed so you wont have to worry about acid or corrosion. Lastly the are just very beastly batteries. You will never regret any of the batteries I listed. Any of the AGM style batteries will hold up to your needs with cold starts. Batteries keep going up in price like every month or so the are jumping up like $10 here and there. I guess with all the Lead they use in batteries it just keeps increasing the prices. Overall any of them are fine choices to go with. Be ready to spend anywhere from $100-$220 for a battery. I stated all the batteries above because they are easy to warranty out if something were to happen. You can just go to a parts store or Sears to warranty the battery if something were to happen.
  16. Is the $1.49 a foot deal still going on? And how long will it last?
  17. This 1/0 Amplifier kit looks like a pretty good deal for $46 shipped. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lightning-Audio-Rockford-Fosgate-0-AWG-Gauge-Amp-Kit-Amplifier-Wiring-/300631219096?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45ff045b98 Here are some pictures from another thread that someone has taken of the wire. The people that have bought it say say it is OFC wire. They also state it is 100% Copper. Anyone else have any experience with this Lightning Audio 1/0 wire?True 1/0? Is it really 100% copper?
  18. Well I am just seeing if anyone has seen any good Black Friday Deals yet. I saw at sears there is a pretty nice 3Gal Craftsman Compressor on sale for $79.99. What other good deals are out there?
  19. NEW UPDATE!!! 2-24-09 YOU MUST HAVE 150 POST TO POST AN ITEM FOR SALE (that also means you CANNOT sell items through your sig or in the chat room below 150 posts) I only have a one, the rest is common sense. If your not looking to buy a product that someone has for-sale, Do Not Post in that thread, no matter how much you think someone wants to much money or what not. if you know they are scamming then that's a different story, otherwise Shut up, I'm tired of seeing peeps trying to tell people what is or isn't a good price on something they DON'T OWN. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hate to do this but people aren't understanding common sense. 1. Do NOT post dump. - Post dump is an unnecessary post - All items listed for sale must be listed with a asking price for each item - If you hate the price don't complain about, its up to the OP(original poster) to set his price, other wise PM him/her - If you are not interested in purchasing or are interested but do not have the money to purchase the item at the time you see the thread on that item that is for sale, do NOT post - Posts may be deleted without warning - Report to mod button is there for the sake of reporting the thread, USE IT - Repeat offenders will have a short ban from the forum 2. Do not question the moderators - No need to explain this rule, basically don't argue with them 3. Pictures with your name and date on a piece of paper shown with every item being listed is a MUST - if you have time to post you have time to take pics. if not we aren't interested in your thread here. - We have a moderation staff, we don't need 40 members posting that they need pics/150 post minimum or it will be deleted, it just clutters up threads and we have to delete all the random chatter to keep the threads clean. Anyone caught playing Rent-A-Mod will be sent on a 24 hour vacation. The rules are for everyone's benefit, just read them and abide by them its not hard. 4. References will help your sale 5. Do not bump your thread more than once a day - There is a difference between bumping and updating - A bump is a term used to move your thread to the top of the list - Do not BUMP others threads 8. Do not ask us to delete your for sale thread, they will be here for archive, we however can lock the thread. 7. Respect each other 8. NO FEELERS 9. IF you do no have 150 posts you CANNOT sell period. Nothing in sig either. 10. No links to off site sales other than Hot Deals. If you want to sell it here, make sure the post fits all rules for the appropriate section it is listed in. 11. NO RAFFLES WHAT SO EVER 12. DONT ADVERTISE YOUR ITEMS FOR SALE IN A WANT TO BUY THREAD IF YOU DONT MEET THE CRITERIA The rules are for everyone's benefit, just read them and abide by them its not hard. If you are a Vendor here with your own Section these new rules do not apply to you if your in Roscoe's thread below this of Super sellers these new rules do not apply as well
