using rca to feed a 4 channel amp instead of speaker level input. do i need to put load resisters on the head unit? or just leave the wires covered?

i am going to bet he is using the speaker outputs on the headunit spliced into some RCA cables.

The head unit has front and back and sub outputs. and puts out 16w per 4 channels. i am just looking to run more power to front and back. using the rcas out of the head unit. Thanks for the answer _paralyzed_
