Lol, the titanic theme?

I know it was someone's on ROE, but I haven't found it yet.

I'll get it asap though, I hope it would be alright if I post the link in here?

Thanks guys! I've still got to do the stock speaker replacing and I'm going to be glassing my A-pillars with the tweeters, So as soon as that project gets rolling I'll be adding it to the thread.

Found the Titanic mix. I think it's by 98tahoe on realm of excursion. He posted this link in one of the threads there so I assume he's the one that made it. I'm going to post it up here, but if it's not allowed just let me know and I'll remove it, but I hope it's ok, so someone let me know.

It's a bad ass track, PLENTY of low notes to get you excited.

Also on this show off thread I got a pic of my engine after being cleaned.

On the fiberglassforums fabmaster (I believe it was) had in his thread some pics of a new product he was trying out called CD-2 engine detailer. I decided to give it a shot and turns out it did a HELL of a nice job.

I'd pull the grille apart if I was you.

I'm going to make a insert for my grille. Not sure what I'm going to use...

Meh, I'd like to pull it apart just for the purpose of making it easier to paint, but otherwise I like the design, just not the grey. -_-

  • 2 weeks later...

Did some grill work yesterday!

Here's a pic of before.

Taping off.

Funny how the simple things that should be quick, like just painting something with a can of spray paint, turn out to be a tedious process.

However, when it comes down to it, it's all in the prep work, had to wash the hell out of the plastic before getting to put paint on.

My weapon of choice!

Whenever I work with paint or FG I always go with hawaiian swim trunks. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/dirol.gif That's how we roll in texas. Today my work was sponsored by pepsi. :bad:

The nice thing about krylon fusion is after just a few hours you can work with it, you just gotta be careful!

I'm ALOT happier now with the grill. No more ugly dirty looking grey plastic.

Also did some interior painting the other day.

Speaker grills with duplicolor vinyl and fabric ( I believe it's called?)

Top console to dash charcoal match.

As well as the dome light housing.

The overall plan is to re-do the entire headliner in the charcoal so that the whole interior matches. What the hell was Chevy thinking going tan on top of charcoal??? http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif

Got done with another custom aspect tonight.

Not sure if any of you are familiar with the 03+ dash clusters for the GM's but they got rid of the replaceable gauge cluster bulbs and made permanent soldered bulbs to the circuit board. Made things a MILLION times harder to do the LED mod. Either way I got it done. It ended up costing me about $8 total as I found a 50 pack of LED christmas lights at hobby lobby on sale for $6, then a couple packs of resistors from radioshack $2.

After I installed all of the LED's I had a few gauge modules screwed up because the shaft's pulled out of the module rather than the needle come apart from the shaft. So I had to do a couple of repairs on those. :(

Took a while, but it's all back together and completed and I couldn't be happier with the blue!!
