I love that second skin, it is some good stuff. Build looks good, I saw that you did the back of your plate with damp., I found rubber washers at home depot that helped a lot to.

hows that EQ treatin ya? thinkin bout getting one for mine to put in the 1/2 DIN pocket like yours... that the same GM kit from walmart?(thats the one i have) looks like it fits good in the one you got

EQ works good I suppose. Only knobs I use are SUB VOL 50hz 125HZ. The rest isn't being used because no mid/highs amp. I got my kit from walmart. The 1/2 din wouldn't fit so I hacksawed the whole bottom pocket out and cobbed it to make it look decent in the dash. Came out okay if I say so myself.

Well, I went and bought some of that truck bed liner and that spackle paint shit. Here's some pics of the progress.

After a few more coats and about an hour and a half, I sprayed on some of the spackle spray...

Box & sub back in. Also did a bit of rewiring and mounted the amp.

Going to add another coat of that speckle paint in a week or so. Here's a vid.... nothing much. I need moar powah!

i got a impala too, and had mine in a 4.7 cube box with a aq2200. hit a 143 @ 40hz
