  1. Wow, I can't wait to see what they're going to come out with. And i hope they keep the prices reasonable. This is going to be kick ass if they keep the pricing decent. I look forward to seeing what happens.
  2. Should get loud. I have a personal preference of tunning my woofers lower then that. I like to be tuned around 30hz myself, so i can get all the low notes out of my music. Yours should do fine.
  3. That amp pic is nice :sorcerer: how much power does that amp push out to those subs?
  4. Your subs are rated @ 300 watts rms. All you need is an amp that does around 600 watts rms @ 1 Ohm if you have the DVC version like it says in your sig. Here's an amp that i think would be worth checking into. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7708.html
  5. Thanks for the reply Accordman. I more then likely will be going with the Merlin unless someone states a good case for the other ones posted.
  6. Tell me why i should go with this amp? Is it .5 Ohm stable for daily if needed? Are they underrated or do they do exactly what they claim? I just want to make sure i go with the right amp that's all. anyone else with any opinions on these amps feel free to post them. Thanks
  7. you can soon use this to interconnect up to 5 Hifonics amps http://www.maxxsonics.com/corporate/news_0...f_MAXXLINK.html I saw this on another forum and thought i'd post it here. Now if you wanted you could get 2 amps (cheaper) to do the same as the more expensive one. Dunno it was just a thought i had.
  8. If i decide to go with another Hifonics amp i will be going with the XX-Hercules. Not another Brutus amp. I'm running a Brutus amp at the moment and i'd like to upgrade to a higher line of amplifier. thank you for your comment though. Chris
  9. Anyone else have any advice for me? Or first hand experience with any of these amps? I have been looking into another amp wich i like very much. It's the US Amps MD.2D I think i've narrowed it down to these six amps US Amps MD.2D --> Still looking for this one from a store, But I saw someone selling it on this site here's the link http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/forums/in...hp?topic=2907.0 US Amps XT-4000D --> $487 from soundsolutionsaudio.com on ebay it's $347.62 + shipping wich brings it to $374.62 XX-Hercules --> $487 from onlinecarstereo.com MTX TA81001 --> $439 from onlinecarstereo.com Precision Power D3000/1 --> $499.99 from woofersetc.com Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D --> $450 from soundsolutionsaudio.com So, Anyone with any experience with any of these amps? Now. throw out your opinions for me so i can decide. i will be purchasing one of these at the end of the month.
  10. Well there's a bunch of different subs that i've been looking at. I Plan on going from 12" to 15" but i'm not 100% on this though because i might end up with air space issues. Anyway here's the list. Atomic Apocalypse FI Q TC 3000 + CP AQ HD3 Kicker L7 --> seeing as i have the 12's i'm meaning the 15's on this one for sure. MTX 9500 This will be a dual 12" or 15" setup.
  11. L7 12" RMS = 750 And my budget is around $500. I'm looking to get around 1500-2000 Wrms @ 1ohm. In the near future i plan on purchasing some different subs.
  12. Anyone else with any opinions on these amps?
  13. Alright here's a list of amps that i've been looking at for awhile. Which would you choose out of this list? US Amps XT-4000D XX-Hercules Kicker ZX1500.1 Kicker SX1250.1 MTX TA81001 Precision Power D3000/1 Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D Soundstream PCA2000D Power Acoustik A3000DB The Power Acoustik is the least expensive out of the bunch. Is the Kicker ZX1500.1 stable at 1ohm? if someone owns this let me know, the manual says only to run it at 1ohm. Right now i'm running 2 12" L7's off a Hifonics BX1505D and i want toget some more power to these subs. So, out of the list i gave which would you pick or how would you rank them. thanks for the in advance
