Hi, This is one of the vehicles we have for "demo" purposes in the UK. Setup is 6 x LV4 18's with 6 x Sundown 1500's. (They are stacked 2 tall). Considering its "just" 9K it pulls a 155 @ 25 hz with ease

Just thought i would share with you guys where we are at with the SPL car in the UK. I am sure you have seen what we have done with eddhicks chevy etc, but we are also entering a db drag streetmax panda..... We have 2 x Level 4XL SPL subs and 2 x Sundown 4500d's Strapped at 0.35 - 0.175 per amp rising to approx .085 per amp..... either way.... we have done a couple of mods this weekend - waiting till wednesday then more testing

Rusty - give me a time its good to call you soon - need to sort out some things about getting more subs for this

So this weekend we have been mostly sanding, painting and getting headaches from the fumes. Having decided that our first priorities should be to do a bit of work inside the Marbella's enclosure, we spent most of Sat afternoon and sunday morning getting the exsisting paint sanded down - using 60/80 grit first and then after primering going up to 320 grit. Then we laid on 2 coats of Ford Radiant Red, which is as you would expect both Radiant, and quite red! We chose this to match the dustcaps on the DC subs as closely as possible. There is now going to be some final flatting and polishing after the 2 coats are on and then a decision will be made as to whether a third coat is needed. Next thing to do of course is to give it a burp and see whether its made us any louder or not!! Cheers to Craig who pulled in a favour to get this in his workshop as its not something we could have done outside for obvious reasons. Its not even finished yet!!!! Theres no rear trim panels, because as the 18s are only in 4.5 cuft each we will be extnding the box to give more space - should gain the lows 2-3db by our reckoning!!!!!!!! However cool you think its cool - times by 10 as thats the largest vehicle you see in the UK other than semis, pretty much!!!!!!

Jasper - you amps a 2 toroid one. jamie lied to you about the power on the amp - 2.6k @ 1 OR 0.5 ohms MAX mate. Should have got the sundowns off me and not a 6 year old US one that is now 4th hand!

I try to do the exact opposite lol!
