Hey guys I bought this off a guy on craiglists today for 35 bucks. The only problem is that it doesn't have the bass remote nor does it have one of the covers over the inputs. Is thier anyway to get a knob and or covers for it? Thats the amp http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/pr...mp;locale=en_US Its a beast for 200 watts RMS I had it powering a 12, then a 15, then 4 ten's I bought it for my db crossfire 12 cause my 600 watt American pro was to much power.

My amp used to pop or make a thump when i would turn the car on and that was because I didn't have a convertor/loc I just tapped into my speaker wire on the 6x9's and ran speaker wire to the amp and solder on universal rca ends So it was speaker wire with a rca on one end going into the rca's inputs on the amp. In your case it may be bad rca's or somthing else.

If you are talking about that sony amp it won't power that 12 inch Fi Btl worth a crap. Listen to me cause I am in the same boat as you. I am running two ten's on a 600 watt max amp probably doing 280-300 rms bridged at 4 ohms. I am running a 1 farad cap and my lights still dim. I am in the process of getting two 25 foot spools of 4 guage and a kinetics 600 for my trunk. Ill be running two runs of 4 guage one for pos and one for neg to the battery in the trunk, the reason I am running a run of neg is so I am sure I won't have a ground issue cause it will be coming from the stock battery up front.

Thanks it sounds ok its not louder then my two ten's which have been the loudest setup in my car. I plan on either keeping this sub so when I'm working on my system I can throw this in the trunk and still have a little bass or I might sell it.

What I used to adhere the port to the box. Backside with liquid nails too. Spray painted and used a heat gun to dry it fast LOL Nice and flush

Well did a little work today. I may carpet it tomorrow if I have time before I go to work. The old port I screwed it in with screws and the screw heads created port noise so I cut another one and painted it and used liquid nails to secure it to the box. It seems as its holding good and I think overnight it won't move and it won't after than forever LOL. Old Port Screw holes New port with no holes

I want to run a Ma Audio amp so when I open my trunk to show it off you will see two Ma Audio120xe 12's and a ma audio amp to match. I need a good ma audio amp and really don't want to spend over 200 shipped for one. Hey kingsuv which amp did you use in the setup you did for that classic car for the two 12's you put in it.

Yeah I heard that but wouldn't they put that kinda rating on a higher end amp. I am trying to match amp and subs and my dad who I can't get to understand that the max that amp would put out it at like 630 watts rms. I mean it would power those ma 120xe 12's fairly good but not rms power. He said he'll pay half of the price so all I have to pay is 70 bucks, but Ill wait it out and well see what happens.
