might be a cut in the remote wire and maybe a cut in the rca's that would make them not get a good connection cause thats what happened to one of my amps the remote wire was cut and the metal was showing and the amp was ticking but fixed it and everything worked then

well dont know maybe the amp could be screwed up but i dont i think that maybe u cut a wire when u put the car back together or do u think u didnt do that. sorry i couldnt help but just check ur ground just in case

are u sure u have the amps grounded to bare metal if not that could cause the subs not to work u can not have a good ground but the amp will still turn on from the remote wire so check all grounds is what i would probablysay would be wrong

well maybe ur wire feel of the terminal inside hte box u might want to check that if u havent i dont know how u have it hook up

maybe one of ur fuses is blown have u checked all ur fuses on the amp and head unit and maybe check ur inline fuse near the battery if u have one ohh and is ur subs just not working or is it all ur speakers in ur vehicle?

hey does ur port have to be in the middle but i know from experience that a port to either the left or right side of the box is louder and what hertz do u want 35 40 or in between that i have two tens tuned to 36 and there ok but if u just want real loud tune up high like 38 and above but for a daily driving around 34 to 36 would be ok for u

hey this might be a stupid question or a good one who knows someone does. i have a cavalier with two tens ported box tuned to 36hz and it pounds good for tens but eventually i am going to tune lower like 2 or 3 hertz my question is when i have the doors and windows closed and turn the radio up to 26 its not that loud at all and u cant feel the bass shaking the seats then when u put the window down 6 inches crank it back up ur back starts to hurts cuz ur seat is just shaken like crazy is this just that the air is getting out or what. and the box is in the trunk with the subs facing the rear of the car holla back even if this sounds stupid

so should i tune the box to 39 like it said on the ported section of the specs for some good deep loud stuuf and to still sound good if so i will just go and change my port lenght so i get the box tuned to 39 hertz if thats right

well i am runing two ten inch visonik subs on a 6oo watt amp in a 1987 chevy cavalier z24 i dont want justr loud ass bass i want loud but it to still sound good the subs are only rated 500 watts and there getting 300 a piece

yall must have not understood me i dont just want some loud ass shit i want it to be as loud as i can get it but for it to still sound good on music if this can help i usually listen to rap music and i am just going to be running two tens on a 600 watt 2 channel amp. so i thought around 35 hertz that is what steve told me and so i went into that calculator and changed some of my demensions so i could get right at 35 hertz does that sound good for it to be loud ass possible and still sound good on music or do i need to tune a little higher holla back

how do u know that the re calculator isnt accurate have any of yall used that calculator before and build a box from there calculator i am just wondering cause if u are not recomending it then why are u not recomending it well if yall think it is a bad calculator how can i get 35 hertz with a box 38 wide 14.5 depth and 11.5 high what should my port lenth be and i want the port in the center and the reason i am going to use that calculator is because if i dont like how it sounds i can just change the port L2 to change the hertz holla

thats what i thought around 34 to 36 hertz i guess ill do like 35 right in the middle 45 to 60 hertz is like some 15's or 18's i guess thats way to high for some tens holla

actually i have a car and have a system i just dont have a subwoofer enclosure that i like so i wouldnt try to talk about someone who doesnt know them or what they got

hey thats a lot of help but when u mean a 20 inch long port you mean like each side of the port needs to be 10 inches long so both sides of the port together is 20 inches long or what i dont understand that part and can u draw me up a design in like paintshop pro or something to show me where the port should be becuase i want it to be in the center of the box thanks zach aka white boi audio
