I just finished my glasspack and getting all the pipe and tip welded up on my blazer today(ya, a V6). and it sounded good when i had just the glasspack with no pipe behind it. now it sounds less deep and its not as loud. the thing now to ask is do any of you think it would sound better if i put a lil bit of deisel fuel into it and burnt the fiberglass out. my friend has said about doing it to his explorer but it sounded kinda like a deep ricegrinder. i have a bigger engine and glass pack than him. so,,,,,anyone think it would make it louder and deeper? so i just read your signiture thing and see you have the amp i am wanting to buy that same amp. questions on it. can it take 1/0 gauge wire into the power and ground terminals or am i going to need go buy an adapter? and how well do u think it will take a 1 ohm load say to two Fi BL's? and i did see your review of the amp on sonicelectronix didn't i?> that was you, right? i buy from there all the time, great products, great service. the shipping part is acually fair because i work at The UPS Store here in my town and i know that UPS lets them process their own stuff. witch means they can ship stuff for cheeper than you or me(even with my 30% shipping discount). the whole thing is is that you get your stuff a lil cheeper then if they took all their stuff to a prossesing place like their local hub or ups store. so it is a deal. like i bought a prefab box for a friend and some other stuff, i didn't pay more than 30 bucks for a big box, and a bunch of dynamatting. holly hell man, that would make me cry. i cn't even set my subs on smooth cement just for a sec and my subs suck. i counldn't bear to see them tall. let alone an L7 good to hear it is doing ok. Bills

i had the same thing happen to me, i had a 3 year old bat in my car and it died. some batteries only can last about three years. lke the yellow top optima is only supose to be good for about a year and a half(says the auto stores in town) but ya, thats just my $0.02 on this whole thing. Bills

So i got home from church today and decided to take a vid of my insignias. i'm feeding them a 20hz tone . the video quality is not very good, it looks really sweet in person. you kinda have to look close to see the full excursion. its like a shadow above the sub. but ya. thanks for looking!!! ok, i just priced out my first order that will take care ofmy amps and all the power and grounds. looks like i need to save up around $700. Bills

the thing is, i kinda like this amp i got, and if igot diff amps, i would like to go with a Hifonics brutis amp. i've allways wanted to put some of them into my setup. how are those with power managment? Bills

haha, thanks Jman08, they acually get pretty loud for what they are. they are crappy sq if the sub is facing you cause you can hear the dust cap rattle. its crappie!!!! but ya. the box i built wassomthing i threw together(first box i ever made) and ya. its not the best, but ok still. i'll get a vid up here soon maybe if anyone wants to see em. well, at the moment, i'm planning on saving up about $1500 for a build i want to do with either 2 12's or 2 15's. i have to buy all the wireing(looking at the kicker hyperflex 1/0) 2 jl amps(i have one) build a box that will bang and ya. for this summer, i don't plan on buying anything major cause i don't make that much at my job. maybe $120 every two weeks, buts its not much and ii have to buy stuff for drumline next year and sstuff. i might buy the amp and second bat and wires when i get the money for them but i don't know. i'm reallybusy with school and golf i don't know when i'll know. haha. i'm just 17 and ya. lol. so i'm open to segjestions, i wannakeep sub brands to MTX, Alpine, FI, maybe RE, possibly kicker, thinking little about DC. but ya. haha Bills

well, in the class in my area, i'm a "catagory 3" for the comps here. my cat will consist of 4 10", 3 13", 2 15" setups and from what i hear i'm not near loud enough. Bills

just recently i put in about 70 sq ft of fatmat into my blazer. i took it in to get tested today and i knocked out a 143.2 @ aboiut 45 hz. i gaind about 2 dB off the instal, i don't klnow if i should be happy or not.haha. i have 3 12" insignia Fubars(crap i know) powerd off a JL Audio A1800 class D amp putting around 300 watts to each sub at 2.67 ohms. so my questions is. do i ditch a sub and build a new box that is 5 sq ft box with 2 4" aero ports tunned to about 33 Hz. i'll be putting about 500Watts to each sub a 5 ohms. is there maybe a chance i could be hitting around 140 on a term lab by any chance?
