hey everyone, i've been looking for a cd that just has test tones on it. i found one but the only subwoofer related tones were 20, 40, and 60 hz and i need between 45 and 55 hz. is there a cd out there that has these tracks on the cd and whats the name of it and where could i possble get it? Bills

haha, that sounds good, the shop here in my town uses TL mics and they let me do everything, they have the computer showing me my max SPL and how many hurzt i used and that kind of stuff, then they store it all in there database so they have it. but ya. those A/C mics arn't to nice sometimes i've seen. hey everyone, i have a friend who moved to Lincoln Nebraska and i just talked to him the other night on the phone and asked what kind of numbershis 2 12 Premire subs were putting up. his reply was "156 dB". he has a MTX 900 watt mono block amp and a Cap(pry one farad) in an off the shelf box. please tell me this is not close to true cause steve is hitting 158"s with 4 18's and 20,00+ watts of RF power. haha, please comfort and asure me he was lieing. i have a couple other funny things he told me. i'll put them up in a little bit. thanks! as everyone has pry read in a couple of my last post, I'm planning my next build in my blazer. i've started buying things i need, i got my fatmat in, ordering the new 200 amp alt next week(i hope) and i'm going to start saving for my second amp and two 12" woofers. for a long time i've been looking at the Alpine Type X and i just recently started looking at the Fi BL. its going in my blazer which i drive every day yet i'm planning on going to DB drags and SPL comps here in my local area this summer. so my question is what will sound good yet also pound when i need it to? I had a kenwood amp about 6 months ago, never had that problem. my friend has one and the same thing happens to him though, hisproblem is that it getts too hot cause he put it between his box and this back seat in his olds alero and its squished between the two and over heads and shuts off, thats what happens to his. i have a 98 blazer and i'm getting ready to replace mine. i thought the same(that i would have to take out my engine or break my arm in four diff places) but i have a chiltons manual and it is making it easyer, i need the socket, a u-joint, rachet, and an extension. i would looking into getting a chilton manual. they got 'em at pretty much any autoparts store. good luck man!!
